Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated July 26, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all access to and use of the AeroFarr platform and API (the "Service") and is incorporated into our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this policy.

No safety-critical use. The Service must never be used as the basis for a decision affecting the safety of flight, passengers, crew, or ground personnel. It is not an FAA advisory service and is not certified for flight planning, dispatch, or air traffic management. See the disclaimer in our Terms of Service.

1. No resale or redistribution without a license

You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, or otherwise make available any dataset, prediction, or other output of the Service to any third party, in raw or derived form, except as expressly permitted under a written data license agreement with us or under the specific terms of your subscription plan. Internal use by your own organization's authorized personnel for your own operations is permitted under your plan's usage limits.

2. Rate limits and circumvention

Each API key is subject to the rate limits and credit allowances of its assigned plan. You may not attempt to circumvent rate limits, credit metering, or usage caps, including by creating multiple accounts or keys to evade a single account's limits, obscuring the source of requests, or reverse-engineering our rate-limiting or metering logic to bypass it.

3. Prohibited conduct

You may not use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation, or infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.
  • Transmit malware, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or the infrastructure supporting the Service.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or interfere with its normal operation, including through excessive automated requests outside your plan limits.
  • Misrepresent the source, accuracy, or certification status of data or predictions obtained from the Service, including presenting them as an official air traffic control, airline, or regulatory data source.
  • Use the Service in any safety-critical application, including flight operations, dispatch, or air traffic management, as described in the disclaimer above.
  • Scrape, cache, or index the Service in a manner that competes with or substitutes for a paid subscription.

4. Sandbox and evaluation keys

Sandbox API keys are provided for evaluation and development purposes only and are limited to one key per account. Production or customer-facing use requires a paid plan. We may limit, rate-limit, or revoke sandbox keys used outside their intended evaluation purpose.

5. Enforcement

Violation of this policy may result in throttling, suspension, or termination of your API key or account, in addition to any other remedies available to us under the Terms of Service. We may investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement where required.

6. Reporting abuse

If you become aware of a violation of this policy, please report it to support@aerofarr.com.
